Bayou City Press publishes fiction and nonfiction books that celebrate settings and themes from around the world, including books on history and international affairs. We welcome proposals of any kind, however, and have a special interest in authors with a connection to Houston, Texas, the “Bayou City.”

Julie Gianelloni Connor founded Bayou City Press in April 2019 as a publishing house with an international focus. Julie has a particular interest in Spain and Indonesia, but BCP is open to books about, or set in, any country. We also welcome books on history, particularly if the book has a foreign angle, and on international affairs.
