Saturday, July 16, 2022 | BCP organized a panel during ComicPalooza 2022 on “How To Write Humorously.” Panelists Margo Stutts Toombs and Carrie Carter joined moderator Julie Connor for a lively discussion on elements that make a story humorous.

Thursday, June 2, 2022 | BCP hosted a pre-launch party for Carrie Carter’s book Whiskers Abroad: Ashi and Audrey’s Adventures in Japan. The book’s graphic designer, Stacy Vickers, was also present. Carrie and Stacy promoted the new book to the crowd gathered.

Saturday, May 7, 2022 | BCP authors Julie Gianelloni Connor and Carrie Carter went to the first-ever Lone Star Writers Roundup in New Braunfels, Texas. Julie sold and signed her books and gave a talk to attendees while Carrie and graphic designer Stacy Vickers spread the word about the soon-to-be-released Whiskers Abroad: Ashi and Audrey’s Adventures in Japan.

Monday, April 25, 2022, through Thursday, April 28 | Julie Gianelloni Connor attended the Texas Library Association annual conference, holding book signings for her two books and attending panels on diverse
themes such as book bans.

Saturday, April 9, 2022 | Julie Gianelloni Connor participated as a featured author at the first-ever Fort Bend Independent School District Bookapalooza, held at Dulles High School in Sugar Land. She displayed her books and talked to students about writing and literature.

Thursday, March 10, 2022 | Julie Gianelloni Connor presented to the West University Rotary Club in Houston during which she talked about the importance of diplomacy and her 33-year career as a Foreign Service Officer as well as telling members about her two books.
